Artists Must Embrace Change with Time: Pt. Ajay Pohankar at Pune Idol Inauguration

Pune, May 17, 2025 — “Singers and artists must not live in the past, but instead accept the changes that come with time,” remarked renowned classical vocalist Pt. Ajay Pohankar, during the inauguration of the Pune Idol 2025 competition, organized by Someshwar Foundation. The event was held at Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Auditorium in Aundh and witnessed the presence of several cultural dignitaries.

Pt. Pohankar stated, “I am here to listen to today’s youth. In this era of karaoke and digital platforms, it is commendable that Someshwar Foundation is offering singers a chance to perform with live orchestras. Aspiring singers from across Maharashtra must make use of this opportunity.”
